IEE-Specific Add-On Options
Basic IEE covers one intake session (virtual or in the office), record review, 1 to 2 testing sessions, one 30-minute parent feedback (virtual or in the office), one 60-minute virtual meeting with the school, and a complete IEE report with diagnosis and recommendations.
Oceanside Evaluations (OSE) completes almost every IEE without any additional add-on services. At the same time, we offer these so that clients can have control over the process that is otherwise dictated by the school system and OSE contractual obligations. If you want more, we can provide more.
IEE - Base Rates for in-office IEEs: (No add-on fee)
- $1,600 Psychological (only testing for executive functioning or something like anxiety),
- $1,600 Educational (only testing for learning disability),
- $3,000 Psychoeducational (Cognitive + Executive Functioning, ASD, etc…)
- $3,200 Complex Psychoeducational (Specific Learning disability, cognitive, ASD, ADHD, anxiety and how they interrelate)
- $3,800 Neuropsychological (OSE has never had a school need or request this)Concierge IEE: This is when part of the Oceanside Evaluation Team travels to another location to perform an IEE. The school district rate for an IEE of at least $3,000 will be billed to the school district when sending them the IEE report. PLUS $975 for an OSE staff member to travel and perform the IEE or $1975 to include additional dyslexia specialist evaluation.
If an overnight stay is necessary, an additional charge of up to $250/person may be required.
The additional fee(s) is not billed to the school district, and the client must pay in full to schedule the testing/travel date.Add-on Services IEE: If additional work/time is required beyond the contractual obligations of an IEE, the party requesting the work/time is responsible for paying the additional fees beforehand.
Including an advocate in the process is $180 and includes one 15-minute phone call with the advocate before the intake session. The advocate is encouraged to participate in the intake and feedback sessions. If OSE is not made aware of the involvement of an advocate before the intake, the fee is $325.
If additional testing/scoring/interpretation/writing or virtual meeting time is requested, $180/hour
If court time is necessary and approved in advance of starting the IEE:

If court time is necessary and was not approved in advance of starting the IEE:
$425/hour Dr. Ann VanSkiver + Travel rate if needed

Requesting Dr. Ann VanSkiver lead the IEE: $550
This fee cannot be billed to the school system and must be paid by the client in full to book the intake session. (This fee is not charged in addition to concierge services.)Travel other than concierge services: Travel time from and back to the office is considered work time if travel is necessary (more than 30 miles from the office).
Travel is paid at $180/hour for Doctor Level, $135/hour for Masters Level, $95/hour for other staff. If more than one level of staff is needed, the fee will be at the higher level.
If overnight travel is necessary, a surcharge of $250/person on top of any hotel fees must be collected before the travel occurs.
Travel for IEEs is the responsibility of the client and not the school system.Expedited Report: Expedited report fees are due at or after feedback with the agreement of the psychologist that time is available to complete the report. The business day after Feedback or Payment in full with all family rating scales complete (whichever is later) is received is considered day 1. These fees are the same for all types of clients and are paid for by the client.

Report 12-14 business days $100Testing or observation outside of the office: These are completed in 60-minute increments. Travel time is paid based on the travel schedule. Clients are also encouraged to submit short videos if outside observation is not possible.
If outside testing or an observation takes place instead of one of the testing sessions allotted for the IEE, there is no additional cost unless there is a travel fee for travel more than 30 miles each way.
